About Us

At Ru-Jo

Hi and thank you for visiting us at Ru-Jo, located right in the center of Nebraska. We have four sons and two daughters although only two of our boys are still at home. And I can not continue with out first mentioning our beautiful little red headed grandson, Dewley -the pride of his pa pa and grandma.

Joe and I both fell in love with the beauty and intelligence of standard poodles about 15 years ago when we came in contact with people who owned them. We agreed then that some day we would have our own and three years ago that dream became a reality. While we have spent considerable time researching the breed, we continue to learn more every day. Our thanks to all the poodle people that have mentored us along the way, bringing us to where we are

today.

Rose, Strider, and Gus are an awesome part of our family. Strider and Rose both attended Puppy Kindergarten and Basic Obedience; I plan on attending more obedience classes in the future. Rose has also appeared in a UKC show ring and we may, or may not continue this direction. Our top priority is that our poodles are an integral part of our home life. Recently we were blessed to have Jorja, a beautiful phantom, join our family.
